My Story: How I got here
Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with thousands of candidates ranging from students pursuing internships to senior executives navigating major career transitions. Along the way, I’ve also spent time on the other side of the recruiting table myself.
My own career path wasn’t perfectly linear—as is increasingly the case for many people today. I began my career as a stockbroker, but quickly realized my passions lay elsewhere. That journey led me into College Admissions, Campus Recruiting, Experienced & Executive Recruiting, and ultimately Talent Acquisition leadership. Each step gave me a deeper appreciation for the transitions people navigate throughout their educational and professional lives, and I carry with me lessons from both my own journey and the many individuals I’ve had the privilege to support along the way.
Over time, one thing became very clear to me: many talented people struggle not because they lack ability, but because they don’t fully understand how hiring actually works—or how to confidently communicate their strengths within the process.
That’s why I created Hire Minded.
My goal is to help people better understand the realities of recruiting and hiring, build confidence in themselves, and approach their careers with greater clarity, authenticity, and preparation.
